Blue flax blooms in the morning, then the
petals fall off. I don't know about these
wet days, can't tell if this flower is coming
or going. This is another of my favorite
plants. I love the delicate foliage and the
and the sky blue blossoms.

I took this shot at my friend's house this morning.
This wild indigo plant is over ten years old, and
is huge. The wagonwheel in the background is
four feet tall, so you can measure it by that. This
plants has seed pods after the flower, and it is
easy to start new plants from them.

I made these quilts a few years ago for some friends who were having twins. The mom picked the colors to go in an African theme room. She chose non traditional baby colors, and ones that would catch the eye. These are the brightest quilts that I have made to date.
