Another rainy day in the garden. I just was out there checking to see what was blooming today. Last week, the main color showing was blue. Now, the blue is fading away, and purple and yellow seem to be taking over. Does any one know the name of this purple plant? I can't remember where I got it, but whatever it is, it reseeds everywhere. The coreopsis is taller than usual this year, from all the rain we have had in May and June. Next year, I think I will move it all closer to the back of the garden. The lavender looks like it will be blooming in another week, and the liatris. too. I guess the purple tone is going to stay around for awhile.
