My little camera works well on close ups, but I won’t even show you my efforts at catching a shot of the birds in the tree.
I was reading up on waxwings this morning, and did you know that they not only pass berries back and forth, but also flowers? I would love to see that.

I love Cedar Waxwings. I don’t think they stay here year round, so we only wee them fleetingly on their way through. Lovely coloring. What a perfect place for them to set up shop. Look at all those choke cherries!

Never knew that about waxwings passing flowers back and forth!

I know I often hear them in the spring when the locust trees are blooming - they’re such pretty birds, but always flying so high overhead.

Somehow I get chokeberries and chokecherries mixed up - I see the difference in your pic. I have chokeberries, which have tiny dry fruit.
