I took this shot yesterday in Portland, Maine for my door collection. We must of driven past this building hundreds of times, and I wonder why I haven’t noticed these doors before? Look at the detail in this old building. I wish it had a date on it. See that other brick building on the left? The writing over the doorway says MAINE EAR AND EYE INFIRMARY The dates below the name are in the 1800’s, but can’t see exactly what they are. That building is now condos, I think. I love the fact that so many old buildings are still be used.
My husband always says photos taken out of the car don’t come out well, but this one isn’t bad for a stop light shot.
