We have a row of very large maples beside our house. Long ago, there was a farm on the other side of the trees. The maples were planted along the lane to the house. Each fall, the colors are beautiful shades of red, orange and yellow. So far this year, I can only see a few red leaves up near the top. This shot was taken about this time last year, from directly underneath. I think I was actually trying to get a shot of a squirrel, but don’t look for it, I missed it!

You will be seeing more from these trees later in the fall, when they really start showing off their colors.
