The turkey flock was just exiting the garden when I went out this morning. Pam, I was wrong about Maine turkeys, they are brighter this time of the year. Never noticed that before. We have eight in this flock, way down from spring, when I counted 28. Hopefully, the flocks have divided, and that many have not been lost to the coyotes.

I took a quick walk in the woods this morning, hoping that I could get back before the rain started. I did, with plenty of time to spare. While I was out, I took the header shot above. The color is not so bright this year, but pretty, anyway.
