I was headed out the door to take some photos of a crystalis my friend had been watching on her back fence yesterday. A flock of canadian geese were flying over head as I walked down the driveway. Since I already had my camera in hand, I shot three quick photos. This is the last one, shot just as they crossed in front of the sun. The sky was actually blue, but after trying a few things, decided that the sun looked better in sepia.

This is the first flock of geese I have seen this fall. Last year, we had geese stay in the area all winter. We could hear honking all the time, as they flew from one pond to another. Hopefully, this bunch is on their way south.
