My husband and I took a ride down the coast yesterday. We went south through the woods to see the leaves, and then over to the coast at Kittery Point. After that, we travelled north, along the water, on twisty little roads for many miles. I took lots of photos between York and Kennebunkport, but haven’t really organized them yet.
This vine was growing along the road, just out of Kennebunkport, at a place we stopped for photos. It was in a hedge with several other plants, not far from the water. I have never seen anything like it before, and like it’s striking appearance.
