I did finish a quilt this week, but I want to photograph it outdoors, and we have been having rain every day, so that will have to wait. Yesterday, I started a project on my tabletop loom, a merino wool scarf, but that is still a long way from photo stage.
So, today, I am posting two recent gifts. Both from women who do beautiful work. The hat was made by my daughter, Mindy, who taught herself to knit at 12, with a little help from her dad. I will tell that story another time.
The bookmark is from my friend Hazel. We both do cross stitch, but hers is as neat on the back as the front. Mine is not, so I hurry and frame it up when I am done.
So, my plan is to settle down and get to work on all the projects ready to go in my stash drawer.

By the way, I got three more seed catalogs yesterday. The count is up to five.

What delightful and lovely gifts!!! I don’t knit but really appreciate the talent of those who do! I also do not cross stitch - but I love hand sewing and am looking forward to seeing the quilt (when you get a sunny day :)

Those are beautiful gifts! I can’t wait to see your quilt! And your scarf when it’s done.
Hmmm, I must be signed up for the wrong seed catalogs. . . I don’t have any new ones yet. Lucky you!
