I love doors and windows–even those (or maybe especially those) which have been forgotten. They are beautiful, indeed.

That first photo is so incongruous. I’ll bet it was spectacular in its heyday.

Yes, too true. Entrances, buildings, all tend to be only functional now. (Or am I too old fashioned at 63 to see the beauty in modern buildings? :-D) Delightful photos.
