I spent several hours doing indoor gardening yesterday. My houseplants needed some extra care, so I put on some nice music and got to work. It wasn’t like working outdoors, but still quite pleasant.
Several plants had outgrown their pots, so they got new ones. The rest just needed cleaned up, misted, fed, and watered.
Right now, the only thing I have blooming is this cyclamen. Of course, the poinsettia in the window still looks bright, but do you call that blooming? I keep checking the African violets for new buds, now that the days are getting longer, so far, nothing.
This weekend, I think I might visit one of our local nurseries to pick up a few new plants to brighten up the window sills. The long Maine winter is easier to take with flowers.

I love cyclamen! I should buy one for my windowsill. I need to repot my plants this February. It sounds like you had a nice day!
I was just admiring the cyclamen at the local nursery today - instead I bought a little succulent garden to put somewhere.
My poinsettias are mostly done - tossed two of them today because they looked so awful. The white one is still nice.
I need to repot my houseplants. Something I always forget to do.
