Here is one of a flock of chickadees I ran into yesterday while I was out with my camera. The chickadee is the state bird of Maine, and can found just as often in residential settings as in wilderness areas. Wherever you find them, their cheerful songs and friendly attitude will make you smile. This one appeared to be listening to the sounds coming from my digital camera.
