We are having a big storm today. Lots of snow and wind due to come later in the day. The snow had started by the time I got up this morning, but so far, isn’t that bad. The weather watchers said yesterday that there is a good chance of losing power, especially if the snow changes to rain. Having lived four days without power during the ice storm several years ago, I spent this morning making sure the laundry was caught up, and checking the supply of batteries, water, and candles. Also baked hearty cinnamon raisin bread, in case we need something extra to munch on.

I made the jelly heart photo above to use on my iCard valentines. Of course, I had to eat a few hearts while I was doing it. I am not much on chocolate, but these are pretty good!
