early garden check, and more snow for Maine April 4, 2007

I went out yesterday to check the garden, just after the rain stopped. Lots of things are starting to come up now, and many of the perennials are green. Last year’s parlsey is still going strong, and the johnny-jump-ups sprinkled all over the yard will be blooming soon.
Both these shots of sedum were taken up in the bed against the back of the house. I also have daffodils there about ready to bloom, too. Even the mums are showing foliage.
The bad news is that we getting another snow, big flakes coming down right now, and 3-6 inches expected during the night, for here along the coast. I know this late snow makes the grass green up faster, but I am tired of snow!
