I know I wasn’t going to post any more snow photos this year, but you have to see this. We had light snow all day yesterday, but the heavy stuff didn’t start until last night. Looks like we got 11 or 12 inches, and it is still snowing. The power went off around 4 this morning,  thankfully it came back on around 8 am, but the cable is still off, so I can’t see the snow totals yet. While I was out shoveling this morning, I could hear trees snapping down in the woods, and the tree on the right in the photo above lost a large branch near the top. This shot was taken from the back of the driveway looking toward the woods. I imagine I will get more photos today, since I will be back outdoors shoveling.

One thing made me smile, while I was out this morning. The finches nesting in the low shrubs next door were singing away, despite the weather. Also heard jays calling out as they flew in from the woods to the feeders.
