two views of a female eastern pondhawk dragonfly June 20, 2007

I know the first shot is better, but I like the second, so I posted it, too. The male eastern pondhawk is blue, and I was looking for green, so it took a while to identify this one. Hope I got it right. On the day I took these, I got shots of several other dragonflies, and one damsel. Now that I have a book for identification, I know to go looking on sunny days with a slight wind. Last week, I went out on a dark day, and didn’t see anything.
