Good news! We age getting a gentle rain this morning in southern Maine. My garden certainly needed it, having very sandy soil. I hope it lasts for a while. Yesterday, I watered my tomatoes and a few of my new plants, but the rest of the garden was looking awfully dry.

While I was out walking this past week, I found that my pink yarrow had made it’s way out to the edge of the woods. I could not have planned a better place for it. It is surrounded by ferns and wild white yarrow. I went to take a shot of the overall scene yesterday, but the light was already too harsh, so I will get it sometime this week.
