This is an achillea called The Pearl. I love the name and the flower. I started this plant from seed about ten years ago, and now I have four plants, since it needs divided often. It plant is cover with blossoms a bit larger than 1/2 inch, and blooms for a long time. Can you believe another name for this beauty is sneezewort??
Since white flowers are hard to photograph, at least for me, I took several shots at different settings to see which one captured the most detail. This is a bit dark, but shows the blossom at their best. Most of my lavender has gone to flower, but I was able to find a few sprigs to use for contrast. As many of my shots are, this one was taken on the old garden stand which is getting quite weathered.
