The One Deep Breath prompt this week is closeness

My mom turns 83 tomorrow. She doesn’t get out much anymore, but does love to visit with her far away family and friends on the phone. Thank goodness for those ugly wires. I have to say that this is the first time I have ever intentionally put them in a photo!

When I think of haiku, I think of nature, so here is one for that mother.
