Early one morning last month we had a storm. That is kind of unusual for Maine, especially in the fall. Most of our storms come in the late afternoon. I had my camera ready to catch some lightning streaks, but caught the rising sun hitting the treetops across the street instead.

Isn’t that kind of light great? I saw it briefly yesterday when there was a lull in the rain…but didn’t have my camera ready. Glad you did!

I love the rare photos. One can take hundreds of photos and only one will have those outstanding qualities that make it a keeper. This one could easily adorn a magazine cover or post card!
