We are having a winter of beautiful sunrises up here in Maine. I haven’t seen this much color in the sky since the 1970’s, before the air was cleaned up. But, I guess that is dating me! This is actually three shots of the skyline stitched together, looking slightly southeast from my yard.

Very nice picture! Those cold winter mornings provide very good color!

That IS a splendid sunrise. I have to say I seldom see the sunrise because my insomnia keeps me up wayyyyyy late and I don’t usually get up before 8-9 am. But I see all the sunsets… ;-)

Truly beautiful! I’m never up at sunrise, if there were some of these to look at, maybe I’d make it!!
Thanks for posting.

That is a beautiful sunrise - the 1970s? That doesn’t seem so long ago, not really!

Very beautiful sunrise! We haven’t had a pretty one like this in my neck of the woods for several months now. Thanks for sharing yours.

Beautiful sunrise! I watch the sunrise every morning.
It has been so cold, -2 degrees, for the first part of the week and than a warm, mid-winter thaw , with temps all the way to 56 this afternoon.
1970’s? Not long ago at all!

Spectacular! Because the mountains are in the way, we don’t get these type of sunrises.
