I love it! And I love this photo. How did such a bright little thing become the scourge of the Lawn People? Nothing’s better than this burst of color after a “long white winter.”
Actually, I love dandelions! And at this time of the year, we’re so color-deprived here in Maine that it looks simply beautiful.
Such a perfect shot! The welcome relief of color is not to be laughed at.
I’m not laughing. I happen to think the dandelion is much maligned! Look at how beautiful it is!
Great colour and fantastic close up!
I’m with the others in the dandelion fan club! Delighted to have a lawn full of them. Wonderful photo and poem.
I love this - dandelions are probably my favorite spring flower since I always have so many! Right now the world outside is a snow white blizzard and the house interior is dark and gray.
Very nice photo. And you chose the right words to go with it. Great effort!
After a long winter, color is the perfect follower. Love the flower to go with the poem, so bright and happy.
Love the thirst image. That dandelion is so vibrant that you can literally drink in the color.
I could not agree more!! Ah, the colors of spring ….
“A golden sunburst”, speaks wildly with color! We have many on our lawn. Great photo!
My Dad says that weeds are whatever the gardener wished wasn’t there! He really dislikes Dandelions because he works so hard on his green grass. I think they are lovely! I remember laying in fields of them as a child and feeling so happy!
I am not laughing! I’m smiling! Just last night we found our first dandi along the route we walk. It was in the most conspicuous place. The poem is great and the yellow hurts my eyes like they’ve been too long in the darkness.
No laughing here! Dandelions are so bright and cheery after a long winter. I *just* put up a post about their importance as an early spring food source for honeybees. Our local beekeepers asscociation is encouraging people to love their dandelions as my as the crocuses
YAh! Someone else who appreciates dandelions.
