Surprises in the woods, I had a hard time finding one pink lady slipper, but found a ton of blue bead lilies. It is usually the other way around. The lilies have always grown in just one place, and, only a couple at a time. This year, they are everywhere. Foamflowers, starflowers, and bunchberries are in abundance. There is no bunchberry shot here, the ones I took were either too dark or blurry, and I was too lazy to walk back for another shot. The fringed polygala is just beginning to bloom here. Wonder what will be out next week?
